Tripp Lite INTERNET350SER
The Tripp Lite INTERNET350SER UPS system is a reliable battery backup that protects AC power against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges, and line noise. The six-outlet 120V battery backup protects a home office, media center, professional kiosk, or small business phone system using a DB9 serial port to notify power and UPS status remotely.
During a power failure, the backup support allows you to continue working and gives you enough time to save your files and safely shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. The backup time varies depending on the load, but the INTERNET350SER should be able to keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with a small LCD monitor powered up to 13 minutes. In typical operation, incoming utility power keeps the internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available.
The UPS system has six NEMA 5-15R outlets, three of which provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer and other crucial components. The other three outlets provide surge suppression only for non-essential equipment such as printers and speakers. Each outlet has enough space to accommodate large transformer plugs. The system has a high line mode efficiency rating of over 98%, which reduces energy consumption and BTU emissions, resulting in lower energy costs.
The INTERNET350SER also protects against power surges with a 316-joule surge suppression rating. Dual network data line surge suppression jacks protect a wired peripheral from waves on a single 10/100Base-T or dial-up network connection.
